Any way to control fan speeds on ROG laptop without Armoury hell?
WEBDec 13, 2021 · I used to think my componrnts needed repasting but from this experiment i can see it is 100% an asus program either capping the fans below true max or there is a conflict between ASUS programs/artificial hardware limitations and something else.They locked out any fan controls in bios and do not allow third party apps to control fans either.

WEBFeb 28, 2022 · Older version of AI Suite has still working Fan Xpert II, which is ASUS_AI_Suite_3_V3.00.62_WIN10_64-bit.zip. Had to sell my vivobook because of the lack of fan control. Even on the whisper mode, the laptop fan would speed up to 40% randomly. Now I have to buy gaming laptop that at least has fan control in the bios.
