I noticed it comes with a fan controller that, apprently through hydranode, will allow me to control up to like 10 fans individually. However, there was no power cable included and it seems to almost certainly be proprietary. It looks like a 6 pin molex.

WEBNov 11, 2022 · Armoury Crate does not detect ROG fan controller I just installed my Maximus Z790 Extreme and connected six ARGB chassis fans to the ROG fan controller that came with the board. The fans are running and the RGBs are lighting up but the controller does not show up in Armoury crate and none of the fans are showing up.

WEBMay 3, 2023 · Hello, I recently purchased the ASUS X670E Extreme mobo and it came bundled with the ROG Fan Controller. I noticed in Armory Crate that the fan controller isn't detecting my CPU temperature accurately and therefore it isn't automatically controlling my fans in accordance with my fan curve.

WEBMay 12, 2022 · 0% at 25C, 100% at 50C, slightly offset per fan so they never run at the same RPM (running fans at the same RPM increases noise drastically) The only thing I hear while gaming is coil whine and the fan of my monitor. Only with double synthetic load (prime95 and furmark at the same time) fan speeds are noticeable, but still incredibly silent.

WEBMar 17, 2023 · Looks like my Asus motherboard comes with a ROG fan controller, and I’m not sure what it is for and whether it is needed: My case (HAF 700 evo) comes with a preinstalled controller which I plug the preinstalled case fans to. The Lian Li fans I got also come with a Lian Li L-Connect controller.
