WEBNov 10, 2022 · Fan Xpert 4 vs Armoury Crate. 11-10-2022 02:33 AM. I have just finished the built of my new setup (Strix z790-E + 13900K). I am very stonished to see that Fan Xpert 4 in no more included within the AISuite software. It seems that it is mandatory to install Asus Armoury Crate in order to be able to use the Fan Xpert utility.

WEBNov 25, 2018 · As you can see in the attached screenshot, it shows what the RPM should be (based on the GPU temp) with a "ghost" yellow dot on the curve, while the full yellow dot below reveals that the fan is actually at zero RPM. This doesn't happen if I pick the CPU as source. I've found several others posting the same thing.

Fan Xpert 4 - Fan Speeds not Changing as Expected
WEBJun 5, 2018 · The fan speeds don't reliably follow the fan curve, and behave differently depending on how many sensors are being monitored. Here is a screenshot with heat in the loop and 2 sensors. The fans stayed stuck at 11%. Here is another one with a single sensor. The fan RPMs are stuck at 30% when they should be at 20%.

WEBMar 15, 2024 · I have the same issue, GPU source is not remembered for AISuite3 + Fan Xpert 4. I dug around using process explorer and found that when you click save on the source selector, AISuite and AsusFanControlService saves a config file located in: C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\AsusFanControlService\2.03.20\FanStore.xml.

WEB04-05-2023 12:31 PM. tyvm for the answer, i got it fixed with a fresh install of armoury crate. if it happes again i will use smarter fan control aswell. The last 2 month i had so many problems with this software its not worth to keep it on my pc. I mean Armoury Crate has nice features like AI Cooling and Aura Sync and some other stuff.
