Splendid place to have a couple's stay amidst romance and nature. White sandy beaches and plenty of places to enjoy an afternoon coffee or party. Definitely a place to enjoy.Full review by Mr_Will01

Playa Santa Teresa is for me the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica. The sunsets are gorgeous there. The beach is good for surfing and for long walks. If you are in Costa Rica and have enough time to…Full review by ATIVU

Q:
Is it possible to get from Santa Teresa to Montazuma by taxi or shuttle? I have been searching online and can’t find any pricing.
A:
Hi Can rent a Quad bike, take a public bus, shuttle or take a no regular cab because you won’t find a legal one over there.

If you are experienced at driving back roads that are almost impassable, and you have a 4 wheel drive, then you can do it. But dont look at mileage to determine how long it will take you. I would add 4x that amount. It is slow going, and either very dusty or very muddy. Both places are great, and I wouldnt discourage you to visit. Just know what you are getting into.

Q:
Where is this located? How far from Tamarindo?
A:
Driving in Costa Rica is slow and requires a lot of patience . I would plan on a full day to drive the distance.

See my review of Santa Teresa Beach on February 8. I would be intimidated going again after being there. Any rain at all will make Santa Teresa a mud pit. And after driving through a couple serious rivers to leave there, I wouldn't care to go if the rivers are higher. And why spend an extra half-a-day driving there and back? While the beach is great, the city infrastructure is very poor. Playa Hermosa is still very good and is much closer. Have fun either way!
