The rough trough of low pressure the NHC is referring to as Invest 94L has continued to move north-northwestward. It’s producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms extending a couple hundred miles north of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, but further development is unlikely.

Wind shear and mountains in Hispaniola could help protect Florida from direct impacts if Invest 94L does become Tropical Storm or Hurricane Nadine.
