Strong, gusty winds will impact most of the state through Tuesday evening with temperatures dropping through Wednesday.

The fire sparked on May 13 and has grown to over 3,000 acres. Multiple structures have reportedly been destroyed. Greer and South Fork residents in Apache County should evacuate their homes.

"If you can't see the mountains at all, either from smoke or dust, these are times that we really have to worry and take concern for our lungs and our health."

The Greer Fire is burning miles away from where Jerry Porter lives in Eagar. But he's had his share of experiences with wildfires.

Kenzie Beach has the latest on the Greer Fire that has forced several residents in eastern Arizona to flee from their homes. It has grown to more than 7,000 acres as of May 14.
