Jalen Brunson has been ruled out for Friday's contest against the Western Conference's top seed with a calf injury. Leading up to the game, Brunson was considered questionable with the same injury that cost him to miss the team's first game of 2025 earlier in the week.

Jalen Brunson won’t play for the New York Knicks against Utah because of right calf tightness. The Knicks ruled out their All-Star point guard about 40 minutes before the game Wednesday night, when they were looking for a ninth straight victory.
