CHICAGO (CBS) — A dreary and damp Christmas day is ahead in Chicago with low clouds and areas of drizzle. Temperatures on Wednesday will reach the upper 30s and rise into the 40s on Thursday. Light rain showers and drizzle will stay in the forecast through Thursday night. The next best chances for rain develoon p Friday and Saturday.

It has been a mild Christmas with cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s and low 40s. Occasional drizzle has been falling in the far south suburbs and into NW Indiana. Tonight will be mild with lows only dropping a few degrees into the mid 30s.
