It's official—a member of the royal family has joined TikTok. On Wednesday, Oct. 16, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, revealed her new TikTok handle —aptly titled @sarahtheduchess—by sharing an emotional message detailing her 2023 breast cancer diagnosis.

"One cancer diagnosis was bad enough, but to go through all those emotions twice was a lot to handle," the Duchess of York wrote below the video

She opened up about her "hollow feeling of total abject fear" in the vulnerable clip.As Sarah Ferguson broke royal protocol by becoming the first family member to join TikTok, she announced her debut with a vulnerable video about her recent health issues.
