DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison and Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Nikki Fried launched a bus tour in Orlando on Monday to mark the first day of early in-person voting. Former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is set to headline a get-out-the-vote breakfast in Miami on Tuesday morning alongside Fried.

MIAMI - South Florida election departments are set and ready as early voting kicks off Monday, October 21 and runs through Sunday, November 3.

MIAMI-DADE - South Florida voters are heading to the polls with the second day of early, in-person voting Tuesday. "This is our right," said Willie Kellom, who voted with his wife Bethat the North Dade Regional Library. "As someone that served in the military we fought for this, and I'm so happy to see the turnout."

The initial group of early voters leaned Republican, a University of Florida professor said, but Democrats could take the lead as early voting continues. It runs through Nov. 3 in Orange County.

Early voting starts Monday, giving you the chance to cast your ballot at a time and place that suits your schedule.

How many people have voted early in Florida so far? Almost 400,000. And more than 1 million have sent in their mail-in ballots.

As of Tuesday afternoon, more Republicans have voted early compared to Democrats but more Democrats have returned their ballots by mail.
