At least 12 people have been killed in an outbreak of Marburg virus in Rwanda, it has been confirmed, as health officials in the East African country have vowed to begin a vaccine study into the hemorrhagic fever to stop its spread.

German police cordoned off part of a train station in Hamburg and isolated two people to reduce the risk of the deadly Marburg virus spreading.
