Microsoft filed a brief in support of Epic Games and says Apple is in the way of it offering a full Xbox storefront on iOS.
In addition to the handheld, Microsoft has also been trying to launch its Xbox Mobile store, but it has reportedly been delayed because of Apple.
The court ruling makes it possible for Microsoft to now launch its Xbox mobile store, but it’s clear that the software giant also wants to ensure Apple’s appeal against the ruling isn’t successful. If Microsoft did launch its Xbox mobile store and then Apple won a temporary stay, it may have to pull that store pending the appeal process.
New details about the next gen Xbox console suggest it will focus on support for Steam and Epic Games Store, potentially bringing Sony first party titles to Xbox.
These environments will need Steam integration, @eXtas1stv believes, and Steam will be available in the Microsoft Store in these upcoming devices. The Epic Games Store could also make an appearance in the Microsoft Store, according to @eXtas1stv’s video.
