Cook sustained an ankle injury on the opening series and ultimately went to the locker room in the first quarter. After a trip to the hospital for an MRI, Cook came back in and willed the Tigers to the 21-17 victory over Auburn, trailing 17-6 at the time of his return.

Auburn led No. 16 Missouri, 17-14, with less than a minute remaining in Saturday’s contest before relinquishing their advantage to the home-standing Tigers with a four-yard rush from Missouri running back Jamal Roberts with 0:46 to go in the game to ultimately lose, 21-17.
