Kirby Dach scored midway through the third period to cap a Montreal Canadiens rally and end the Golden Knights' six-game winning streak with a 3-2 victory over Vegas on Tuesday afternoon.

LAS VEGAS – Kirby Dach scored the game-winner at 10:09 of the third period, the third of three straight goals for the Montreal Canadiens in a 3-2 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday. Cole Caufield and Emil Heieman also scored, and Sam Montembeault made 27 saves for Montreal (17-17-3), which has won three in a row.

Montreal has leaned heavily on the play of goalie Sam Montembeault, who is ranked third in games played this season (29) and is tied for second for shutouts in the league (three). He will also be a part of Team Canada's goaltending rotation alongside Adin Hill in the 4 Nations Face-Off in February.
