Dozens of New York and New Jersey schools are impacted by a recall of meat and poultry products potentially contaminated with listeria.

The USDA has recalled more than 11 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat, some of which was sent to tri-state area schools. The administration recalled BrucePac meat produced between May 31 to Oct. 8 due to listeria concerns.

Nearly 200 schools across the country received shipments of ready-to-eat meat products that have been recalled over possible listeria contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
