Penn State finally snapped its six-game losing streak with a controlled 28-10 win at Michigan State on Saturday at Spartan Stadium, claiming the Land Grant Trophy for the third consecutive year for the first time since 2004-06.

Penn State delivered its first win for interim head coach Terry Smith on Saturday, beating Michigan State 28-10 in a matchup of teams that were winless in the Big Ten Conference. Penn State's victory ended a six-game losing streak, tied for the second-longest in program history, and kept the Nittany Lions (4-6) in contention for a bowl game.

Penn State's final home game of the season will be played under the primetime lights of Beaver Stadium. The Big Ten officially revealed the broadcast lineup for Week 13 of the regular season, including Penn State's home game against Nebraska.
