Motorists have been advised to expect disruption as work to complete a long-awaited relief road continues. Work on the final section of the Sandy Lane road, near Northampton, started last month following final agreements between West Northamptonshire Council and Kier Transportation.

Drivers in and around Great Yarmouth will have a National Highways road closure to watch out for this week. But the news isn't too bad, as it is only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

Drivers have been warned to expect overnight disruption and road closures this week. National Highways said essential maintenance works would take place on the A14 near Ipswich, in Suffolk, and was expected to last for five days.
