Tomatoes sold in 14 states have been recalled over concerns of possible contamination with the bacteria salmonella. Two different recalls have been issues by two different companies, who distributed the potentially contaminated tomatoes, which were produced by supplier Hanshaw & Capling Farms, or H&C Farms, which is based in Immokalee, Florida.

Salmonella-related warnings were issued by the CDC and FDA this week in relation to a poultry-linked outbreak and tomato recalls.
