Earlier this year, Treyarch developer Yale Miller told Game File the Black Ops 6 campaign would be as long as a “classic” Call of Duty, suggesting it would net out around six to eight hours. Co-developer Raven Software recently doubled down on that assessment, promising fans it would be longer than Cold War ’s campaign which only ran five hours.

Black Ops 6 isn't even out yet, but of course we're getting possible info on the next CoD. According to the latest rumor, 2025's Call of Duty will be another Black Ops game, but will be a sequel to 2012's Black Ops 2.

Players who already have Call of Duty installed will receive the Black Ops 6 preload as an automatic update to their existing install, which is similar to previous Call of Duty updates. Activision warns that the download will be larger for these players, as they're getting the new UI and Black Ops 6 at the same time.
