An update is rolling out on Monday, October 21 that will preload Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and finally give the Call of Duty HQ a UI face lift that is long overdue.

Leaks indicate the 2025 Call of Duty will be a Black Ops 2 sequel set in the 2030s, with fans awaiting confirmation from Activision.

Players who already have Call of Duty installed will receive the Black Ops 6 preload as an automatic update to their existing install, which is similar to previous Call of Duty updates. Activision warns that the download will be larger for these players, as they're getting the new UI and Black Ops 6 at the same time.

Black Ops 6 has been banned from sale in Kuwait just days before launch for its depiction of real-world conflict.

Treyarch has fully revealed every multiplayer map, mode, and Operator available to players when the game launches next week.
