Looking ahead to Saturday, the cold front should shift south keeping a few showers around under mostly cloudy skies. In its wake, winds will shift to the northwest at 10-15 mph as temperatures remain slightly cooler in the mid to upper 60s. Temperatures will drop again early Sunday morning back into the upper 30s to mid 40s.

On Friday, Central Florida can expect much of the same. Friday morning is set to start cold again with temperatures in the 30s and 40s, but by afternoon, highs are finally expected to break the 70s. This coupled with plenty of sunshine spells out a beautiful afternoon after days of brutal chill.

A cold front moved in on Tuesday morning and brought dry air across Central Florida. Temperatures are in the low-40s across the interior and in the mid-50s across the coast, according to NWS Melbourne.
