Three weeks after the court dismissed Drake‘s defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG) over Kendrick Lamar‘s diss track “Not Like Us,” the Toronto rapper has now filed an appeal.
Drake, livestreamer Adin Ross, and Sweepsteaks Limited, the parent company of Stake.us, were sued in a class-action lawsuit in Missouri. The lawsuit alleges online gambling site Stake.us circumvented state gambling laws and accuses Drake and Ross of exploitative marketing for the company.
Drake has signaled that he intends to fight the dismissal of his defamation case against Universal Music Group over Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us.'
