Equinor ASA EQNR, a Norwegian state-owned energy powerhouse, has successfully anchored its floating production, storage, and offloading vessel (FPSO) on the Johan Castberg field in the Barents Sea.

The output growth will come from the start-up of oil operations at the Jotun FPSO in the Balder area of the North Sea, and the Johan Castberg FPSO in the Barents Sea where it partners with Equinor.
