Rita Ora got emotional during her concert in Japan when she attempted to sing her duet with Liam Payne just hours after his sudden death. The 33-year-old singer struggled to get her words out and even walked off the stage at one point while she tried to perform “For You” — the track she recorded with Payne for “Fifty Shades Freed.”

Ora was on stage at Zepp Namba in Osaka, Japan just hours after news of Payne’s death emerged. During the performance, she was singing “For You,” her 2018 collaboration with Payne off the “Fifty Shades Freed” soundtrack, when she gave an emotional tribute to the late musician.

Several of Liam Payne's solo hits soared on the U.K. iTunes chart following his death at the age of 31 on October 16. Songs like "Strip That Down" and "Teardrops" lead.
