The probe into the Air India plane crash is being led by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB). A London-bound Air India plane, AI171, crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12, killing 270 people.

Reports said the investigators told a Parliamentary panel that the plane's black boxes were not damaged. The revelation about the devices was critical to reconstructing the events leading up to the crash.
