Per Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, the Blue Jays sent Jonatan Clase back to Triple-A after he was called up as the 27th man for Sunday's double-header. This was not the only move Toronto made ahead of Tuesday's series opener against Boston.

Per MLB's official transactions page, the Red Sox announced that right-handed hitting catcher Connor Wong had begun a rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester. Wong has been on the injured list with a left fifth finger fracture he sustained earlier this month.
