The Braves lost to the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field in a pitcher's duel, with Chris Sale doing something that had never been done before.

The Rockies began this season with a plan to begin to learn more heavily on youth. Centerfielder Brenton Doyle was an All-Star last year. Ezequiel Tovar is considered one of the better shortstops in the National League. Starting pitcher Chase Dollander, the No. 26 prospect in baseball, was called up early in the season, too.

Bryce Elder pitched six solid innings, Michael Harris II hit a tiebreaking double in the fifth and the Atlanta Braves beat the skidding Colorado Rockies 6-3.
