A man who broke into a Hollywood Hills home was arrested after an hours-long standoff with police Wednesday night. The Los Angeles Police Department said they responded around 9:15 p.m. to reports of a burglary near the 3140 block of Hollyridge Drive in the Hollywood Hills.

Police said a man is in custody after he allegedly attempted a “hot prowl” burglary while armed with a knife in the Hollywood Hills. Officers responded to the reported burglary at about 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday at 3140 Hollyridge Drive,

Police have made an arrest at Cinema 7 in Paradise on Clark Rd., the location of several break ins since the Camp Fire caused many Ridge businesses to close.
