After an exceptionally intense episode two, The Last of Us season two brought us a third episode ... council votes and rejects the proposal 8 to 3. But obviously, that doesn’t stop Ellie.

But as co-creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann revealed in the latest installment of HBO's The Last of Us Podcast, fans may not get to see the full scope of Isaac's WLF leadership, as the series is for now holding back on digging into the WLF's complicated and exceedingly violent war with the Seraphites. Mazin said:
I also really enjoyed “The Last of Us” on HBO, and named the first season (which covered the events of the first The Last of Us video game) the best video game adaptation ever. The first we see of the Seraphites comes in Season 2, episode 3. We meet a group of people on a forest trail to Seattle (the same road Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Dina (Isabela Mercred) take later in the episode), with each member clad in hooded garments branded with the same strange symbol.
