A South Carolina man has been sentenced to nearly six years in federal prison after becoming agitated and stripping naked at an Indianapolis International Airport security checkpoint.

INDIANAPOLIS— George Stevens, 38, of South Carolina, has been sentenced to 33 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to interference with security screening personnel and assault of a federal officer.

The incident happened in front of people who were traveling, including families with small children, the DOJ said.
