As 'Blade Runner 2049' hits theaters, Ridley Scott's original film remains as visually spectacular and emotionally resonant it was in 1982.

Ahead of Blade Runner 2099 this year, the sequel/prequel is now available for free in the UK for a limited time only, with Blade Runner 2049 landing on the BBC.

The movie, a sequel to “Blade Runner” (1982), was a critical success and won two Academy Awards. The film is set in a dystopian, technologically advanced society.
