Police say a driver pulled up to an apartment complex and left their car running and unattended. When the driver came back, a stranger was inside the car, and the two began to fight.

A 15-year-old was shot and killed at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on West 8th Street in Uptown, according to a report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
