Two Burnsville residents were injured, one fatally, in a Wednesday afternoon collision on U.S. 61 in southern Dakota County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. at Highway 61 and 190th Street in Marshan Township.

An incident report states a Chevy Silverado was going south on Highway 61 in Marshan Township when it collided with a Hyundai Elantra going east on 190th Street East at 4:18 p.m.
