Disney+ Hotstar has announced the Indian remake of the popular US drama series, Monk. This will be the first South Asian adaptation of the show, which revolves around a detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder named Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub).

Banijay Asia announced the Indian adaptation of NBCUniversal's iconic detective series Monk. The adaptation will revolve around Adrian Monk, a detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder and his assistants Sharona Fleming and Natalie Teeger.

This adaptation marks the first Asian version of the iconic detective series, which originally aired on the USA Network in the U.S. and centers on Adrian Monk, a detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) working with the San Francisco Police Department to solve unusual cases while grappling with his wife's unsolved murder.
