While the Federal Reserve has projected more interest rate cuts this year, some officials are cautious as more economic data on inflation and employment comes in.

(Reuters) -Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank President Neel Kashkari on Monday again said he expects "modest" interest rate cuts over the next several quarters, though a sharp deterioration of labor markets could move him to advocate for faster cuts.

Kashkari said that the current stance of monetary policy remains restrictive of growth, although by how much is unclear.

The remarks -- from Kansas City Fed President Jeffrey Schmid, Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari and Dallas Fed President Lorie Logan -- feed into what's expected to be a broad debate of the appropriate path for policy at the Fed's upcoming policy meeting,
