The Genesis Invitational is set to be played at Riviera Country Club in fired-ravaged Pacific Palisades on Feb. 13-16.

On his website, Tiger Woods said he will miss next week's Genesis Open and The Honda Classic, which is set to start Feb. 23. He will determine his next event after his back is reassessed.

Tiger Woods admitted he has far greater concerns than the status of next month's Genesis Invitational, the PGA Tour event that he has hosted since 2019.

The PGA Tour may be forced to relocate the Genesis Invitational due to the fires in Los Angeles, California. The Tour informed members that it is monitoring the situation in Pacific Palisades, where the Riviera Country Club is located, but it has not made an official decision regarding the status of the event.

The tournament, which Woods hosts and whose foundation is the beneficiary, is played in Pacific Palisades, the site of the largest of the Los Angeles fires.
