High winds and rugged terrain are posing challenges for crews battling the destructive Greer Fire in eastern Arizona's White Mountains.

Evacuation orders remain in place in eastern Arizona as a massive wildfire scorches more than 3.6k acres, destroying several structures. FOX 10's Danielle Miller reports.

Multiple structures have been destroyed and evacuations have been ordered as a fast-moving wildfire burns near an Apache County community.

The wind-driven Greer Fire started on private land and destroyed multiple structures, the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management said.

A wildfire in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, Arizona, has forced evacuations in Greer and South Fork, with several structures destroyed. The blaze, fueled by high winds and dry conditions, has burned 10 acres.
