CHICAGO - A vehicle crashed through a barrier and hit a lightpole near the Dan Ryan Expressway Wednesday morning. SkyFOX was on the scene near 93rd and State streets around 7 a.m. The vehicle came to rest alongside the barrier by the Dan Ryan Expressway.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Dan Ryan Expressway reopened on Sunday morning after a person was fatally struck. The person was struck around 1:46 a.m. on the northbound lanes of I-94 near 82nd Street in the Chatham neighborhood, according to Illinois State Police.

Chicago police responded to a call of crash on the Northwest Side involving an on-duty officer from Downers Grove. The suspects fled the scene and were followed to the 7100 block of South Lafayette Avenue.
