A Florida Highway Patrol trooper successfully intercepted an impaired wrong-way driver on Interstate 275 early Sunday morning.

TAMPA, Fla. – A wild chase was caught on camera between a Florida State Trooper and a wrong-way driver. Dash camera video shows the driver speeding down the wrong way on the highway in Tampa on Sunday. The trooper was able to catch up to the suspect and performed a PIT maneuver. It took several bumps before the Kia SUV spun out.

The trooper performed a second PIT maneuver that finally stopped a woman who FHP said drove the wrong way on I-275.
