All evacuation orders for the Hollywood Hills Sunset Fire have been lifted Thursday after water-dropping aircraft slowed the fire's advance overnight, allowing for full-containment by the afternoon. The Sunset Fire was first reported just after 5:30 p.

Los Angeles firefighters said no homes burned from the Sunset fire, which occurred near Runyon Canyon and sparked a momentary evacuation order for Hollywood and the Hollywood Hills.

Eleven deaths have been confirmed and more than 12,000 structures have been damaged or destroyed. More than 150,000 people remain under mandatory evacuation orders. Law enforcement sources told The Times that it’s likely many of the small fires will turn out to have been the work of arson.
