Former Oilers GM Ken Holland is reportedly speaking with the Los Angeles Kings, one of Edmonton's biggest rivals, for a job as the team's next general manager.

After several days of intense speculation, the LA Kings confirmed today that there was indeed some fire in all that smoke by announcing that Ken Holland will be the franchise's 10th General Manager.

The Edmonton Oilers just beat their rivals, the Los Angeles Kings, in the playoffs. The former Oilers' GM Ken Holland could be next up to help fix them and get them over that hump, at least according to insider Elliotte Friedman.
