It's obvious this is a place for locals to come to relax, read, enjoy quiet conversation, or simply get lost in thought. Some beautiful greenery and flora surrounded by a large and imposing building. At the heart of Paris, a few steps from the Louvre Museum and hidden in the middle of government and cultural buildings (Constitutional Council, Ministry of Culture and Communication, Comédie-Française, Theatre du Palais Royal …), is the sumptuous Jardin du Palais Royal.

Les Jardins du Palais Royal are hidden near le Louvre, behind the theater La Comedie Francaise. You pass a gate and you find yourself in an enchanted place starting with the famous black and white colums of Burennes, a lovely place to take photos because, even though it is a work of art, you can walk around and sit on the columns.

The Jardin du Palais Royal is a perfect spot to sit, contemplate and picnic between boxed hedges, or to shop in the trio of beautiful arcades that frame the garden: the Galerie de Valois (east), Galerie de Montpensier (west) and Galerie Beaujolais (north).
