Air-to-H20 DHW What are your thoughts? 🤔 The SanCO2 split system heat pump uses a stainless steel storage tank and its mono block outdoor unit to heat DHW for whole home supply. No heat exchanger between the tank and outdoor unit, just two pex lines and the water from the tank. Of course you have to consider freeze protection of the piping but the outdoor. Their site specs state it will operate down to -25°F but I’m not sure what it’s rated for for freeze protection or if it has an aux electric
