The cub was very agitated and was struggling to escape, tangling him up more and more. Luckily, there seemed to be no lasting damage and the young fox was safely released. Every patient release is special, but the amount of work and skill that went into getting this little guy back to full health made the conclusion of his story quite an emotional one! Originally rescued by Lawrie and Alannah after being hit by a car, he suffered major tooth damage and needed the help of three dental experts - Dr. Charlie Tewson, Dr. Valentina Farrarese and Dr. Jono Frost - to get everything fully repaired. Amazingly, he has made a full recovery and was recently given his freedom

Fox cubs are becoming a very common sight here at Wildlife Aid and our number now up to an incredible THIRTY FOUR! This group is one of our oldest, and they were rescued after being accidentally uncovered during works on London's Heathrow Airport runway. Sadly, they could not be left in place and we had no option but to admit them to the centre. Luckily, they are now growing up very well and are now part of our fox cub rehabilitation program. They will return to the wild as adults in late summer
